Privacy
WayBeam has no account, no analytics, no ads, and no third-party trackers. There's simply nothing being collected.
When you point at a destination, WayBeam asks a U.S. government elevation service (USGS) how high that spot sits, so the beam lands at the true height of the land. Only the destination's coordinates are sent — never your own location.
Typing an address uses Apple's search to find matches, which also uses a rough sense of your area to rank nearby results first.
Saved places and contacts stay on your device and never sync to a server or account. Photos you capture save to your camera roll, like any photo.
